Realistic AI Image Generator
Noaroo's realistic AI image generator runs Google's Nano Banana model — the current bar for photoreal output. Faces, hands, products, lighting, all hold up at full resolution. Free 3 credits, no card.
Prompts to try
Photoreal portrait

Photoreal product
matte black ceramic mug on a walnut surface, single overhead key light, deep shadow, photoreal, macro detail on ceramic texture
Photoreal landscape
iceland black sand beach with basalt sea stacks, overcast moody sky, light rain, kodak portra film grain, photoreal
Photoreal interior
modern kitchen with marble island and brass fixtures, north-facing window light, no people, photoreal architectural photography
What "realistic" actually requires
Most AI image tools claim photoreal. The output that survives a 2x zoom is rarer. Three things separate real photoreal from AI-looking output:
- Face structure consistency — eyes, nose, ears proportional and not floating.
- Light behavior — single coherent light source, correct shadow direction and softness.
- Material realism — skin pores, fabric weave, metal reflections, glass refraction.
Nano Banana on Pro mode delivers on all three for most prompts. Most other models still slip on at least one.
Prompt formula for photoreal
[subject], [pose / action], [setting / context],
[lens detail: 35mm/50mm/85mm + aperture],
[light direction + quality: soft/hard, warm/cool],
[time of day], photoreal, sharp focusExample: young woman reading at a window seat, knees up, autumn leaves outside, 50mm f/1.8, north-facing window light, soft shadows, golden hour outside, photoreal, sharp focus on eyes
What helps photoreal output most
- Lens language: "85mm f/1.4", "macro lens", "wide angle".
- Light direction: "from camera left", "backlit", "north window".
- Specific film stock or camera: "kodak portra 400 film grain".
- sh-pro mode: not flash, for anything published.
Common photoreal failure modes
- Plastic skin → add "natural skin tone, visible pores, no color grading".
- Floating limbs → add "anatomically correct, weight-bearing pose".
- Identical faces in groups → describe each person distinctly.
FAQ
Why does my output still look AI-generated?
Usually one of three causes: missing lens detail in prompt, generic lighting description, or using flash mode instead of pro. Add specific lens ("50mm f/1.8") and light direction ("window light from left") and switch to sh-pro.
How big can I generate at?
sh-pro supports up to 4K. For most photoreal use cases 1K-2K is plenty.
Can I match a specific photographer's look?
Reference style helps — "in the style of Annie Leibovitz" or "like a National Geographic spread". Specific film stock (Portra 400, Tri-X) is also surprisingly effective.
