Veo 3
Veo 3 is Google's flagship image-to-video model. Noaroo runs Seedance 2.0 (ByteDance) instead — different model family, similar capability, faster pricing. Here is how the two compare and why we picked Seedance for our launch.
What Veo 3 does
Takes a still image (or a text prompt) and produces a short video clip with:
- Camera moves: pans, zooms, orbital shots.
- Subject motion: characters walking, talking, gesturing.
- Scene continuity: weather, lighting changes, object motion.
- Audio: synced ambient and (in some modes) speech.
Output is typically 4-8 seconds at 1080p, expandable.
How it compares
| Model | Strength | Weakness |
|---|---|---|
| Veo 3 (Google) | Photoreal, prompt adherence, audio | Limited public access |
| Sora (OpenAI) | Long clips, scene complexity | Slower, expensive |
| Runway Gen-4 | Mature pipeline, finetune control | Subscription gate |
| Kling | Strong on motion, accessible | Less polished output |
| Hailuo / Wan 2.2 | Open-ish, fast | Lower fidelity |

- Storyboard previews before committing to a real shoot.
What it's not great at yet
- Long-form narrative video.
- Pixel-perfect text in motion.
- Specific lip sync beyond ambient speech.
